We are thrilled to announce a major update for our Group AI Headshot feature, driven by extensive feedback from our users, including real-world testing at PBX 2025. This update takes Group AI to the next level in several key aspects:

✅ Improved Age & Gender Detection: We have refined our AI model to enhance accuracy in detecting age and gender for better realism.
✅ Background People Removal: A new algorithm ensures background people are removed from the scene, making it easier to use an open-air photo booth without a backdrop.
✅ New Model Selection – Ultra: Users can now choose between three modes for Group AI Headshot: Speed, Quality, and Ultra.

Model Selection
1. Speed Mode
- Generates AI Group Headshots quickly, but may occasionally introduce extra fingers, hands, or even additional people.
- Avg Processing Time: 19 sec
- Best for high-speed environments where minor imperfections are acceptable.
2. Quality Mode
- Reduces the likelihood of unrealistic artifacts, ensuring high-quality images for most participants.
- Avg Processing Time: 24 sec
- Ideal for balanced speed and quality.
3. Ultra Mode
- Creates highly realistic images by preserving the unique attributes of individuals (e.g., position, body and facial features, etc.).
- The final quality is as good as quality.
- Avg Processing Time: 26 sec
- Recommended for users who prioritize precision.
Pitfalls & Best Practices
Despite major improvements, some rare issues can still occur. Here’s how to mitigate them:

Overlapping Background Faces: If background faces partially overlap with the main subject, distortions may occur.
💡 Solution: Control the background or use AI Background Removal before applying Group AI Headshot in uncontrolled environments.

Vertically Aligned Faces: When two faces are stacked vertically, the AI may blend facial features or mix attributes between subjects.
💡 Solution: Ensure subjects are side by side.
