Yes. An active Foto Master Cloud Basic or Pro plan is required to use current FMX. One Cloud plan covers the company or brand account, while each device still requires its applicable FMX software license.

An active Foto Master Cloud plan is required for licensing and connected services. After activation and synchronization, supported local event workflows can operate without a continuous internet connection. Cloud sync, online sharing, AI features, and other hosted services require internet access.
