Mirror Me Booth: A Magical Photo Favor Experience
It’s not easy to keep a product like this a secret for long. After months of development and testing, Foto Master is proud to introduce the Mirror Me Photo Booth.
The Mirror Me Photo Booth looks like an ordinary mirror, but it interacts with guests through animations that appear to be part of the mirror itself. These animations guide guests through different workflows and features. A hidden camera behind the mirror captures their photo, and guests can share their creation on social networks.
How Does It Work?
When guests approach the mirror, a colorful animation prompts them to touch it. Once they do, the mirror takes them on a playful journey that ends with a photo favor. Along the way, it compliments them and guides them through a default workflow or one you have designed for the event. The result is a fun photo keepsake. It’s that simple!
We included a wide range of ready-to-use layouts and workflows to help create the magic. In the video below, you can see one workflow in action:
The mirror’s workflows, animations, and photo layouts are highly customizable. Guests can interact with it in several ways, including:
- Drawing funny images on the mirror.
- Signing their names.
Guests can even have a screaming contest with friends and turn the experience into a printed party favor. The Mirror Me Booth’s built-in technology combines touch and gesture detection, using Kinect for Windows 2 and invisible touch hardware. Check it out:
How Can You Build a Mirror Me Workflow for Your Event?
Foto Master created a tool for exactly that: the Mirror Me Workflow Builder. Begin by selecting a photo preset from the preconfigured layouts, or build one from scratch and customize it to your needs.
The Workflow Builder uses “states,” allowing you to add steps and decide how guests move from one to the next. Transitions can be triggered by touching the mirror, a time delay, or the mirror’s gesture detection capabilities.
In each state, you choose which animation to display. You can add your own animations or use the premium content Foto Master provides. You can also place special features within the workflow, giving you a creative way to build your event concept.
The Mirror Me Layout Builder
Another tool we built for the Mirror Me Photo Booth is the Layout Builder, which lets you configure the printout and preview. Its WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor displays changes in real time. You can adjust photo sizes, backgrounds, and foregrounds to suit your needs.
The Mirror Me Booth is compact and designed for safe, easy transport. You can set it up in less than 10 minutes and choose from a range of frames, including classic, modern, colorful, and monochrome styles.
Getting started is straightforward. The booth is preconfigured, so you can begin using it as soon as it arrives at your office.
